I watched Amanda’s latest film Chloe that was being shown here at the Vancouver International Film Festival. She was amazing in it. There is no set release date yet..Here’s an article from my local paper about it.
….Egoyan says he was grateful to get two heavyweights like Neeson and Moore in the leads, but Amanda Seyfried as Chloe was the real revelation.
“I’m so happy that Amanda is such an amazing actor and that she moves outside the genre idea of that character. Her attraction to Catherine is so visceral and detailed … and that’s one place where a sense of danger comes from,” says the master of subtextual stressors.
“It’s very complex. It’s a movie about a married couple that’s lost the ability to communicate, and how they regain some sense of connection by means of a surrogate,” he says.
“It’s almost like the more you communicate, the more you risk stripping the excitement out of the connection. You take away the mystery and the sense of danger, and that’s not as sexy,” he says….
